Penwen Toppsy goes one step further this year and secures the breed Championship ticket. The homebred heifer, shown by Jonathan Hickin and family, won her class last year and went all the way this time round claiming the overall female championship prize also to her credit. She is sired by the imported bull Hashtag and bred out of Penwen Poppy Moo.
It was females all the way with Newland Ulana lifting both the Reserve Breed Championship and Overall Junior Champion tickets. Shown by Thor Atkinson, Ulana is a daughter of the senior herd sire, Hallfield Plato and bred out of Newland Palmbay.
Taking the Overall Male Championship ticket was Thor Atkinson’s Hallfield Plato senior bull entry, who is a son of Broccagh Kingfisher and out of Hallfield Mia.
The Junior Male Champion position went to Whitepeak Usain exhibited by Stuart Mycock. Usain is sired by the imported bull Hastag and bred from the homebred cow, Whitepeak Regina.
