The Hickin family take the Breed Championship for a second year in succession with their 2 year old heifer Penwen Toppsy, a daughter of Hastag and out of Penwen Poppy Moo. Toppsy also takes home the Female Champion rosette and this follows her latest win after taking the Supreme Champion title at the Three Counties earlier in the show season.
Tapped into Reserve Breed Championship position was the 2nd prize heifer from the same class, Hutton Thea shown by Sean Mitchell. This 2 year old heifer, sired by Hutton Oli and out of Hutton Pam, was also the breed champion from the recent Great Yorkshire Show.
The Overall Male Champion was the senior herd sire, Hallfield Plato, from Thor Atkinson. No stranger to the show ring, the 4 year old senior bull is a son of Broccagh Kingfisher and bred out of a Hilltop Hector bred daughter, Hallfield Mia.
Reserve Overall Male Champion and Reserve Junior Champion was presented to Fronfedw Ule shown by Rhydian Davies. This yearling bull is a son of the homebred sire, Miri and bred from the herds Onette family.
Lifting the Overall Junior Champion was Newland Ulana, a young heifer who has had major success throughout the show season coming from Thor Atkinson and team. This young heifer, is sired by Hallfield Plato and out of Newland Palmbay.
