Silverwood Vita Crowned Supreme Champion at Three Counties Show 2026

The Blonde classes at Three Counties Show 2026 attracted an excellent entry of cattle, with exhibitors presenting a strong display of quality throughout the day. Judging duties were undertaken by Mr Stuart Mycock, who had the difficult task of selecting his winners from a competitive line-up across both the male and female sections.

The day began with the bull classes, where Thor Atkinson’s Newland Valentino secured first place in the senior bull class for animals born in 2024. In the younger bull section, Paul Thomas’s Samoht Axel impressed the judge to take top honours and later went on to claim the Male Championship.

The female classes were particularly strong, with quality evident throughout. In the cow or heifer in calf or milk class, Thor Atkinson’s Newland Tanza came to the fore to secure first place ahead of David Knight’s Doncombe Shilpa. The 2024-born heifer class saw Ben Richardson’s Silverwood Vita rise to the top of a competitive class, standing ahead of Thor Atkinson’s Newland Vimto and Charlotte Brain’s Lordswood Violet. In the 2025-born heifer class, Thor Atkinson enjoyed further success with Newland Antonia, while Paul Thomas’s Samoht Arlana took second place.
