Hilltop Flora takes the Great Yorkshire Blonde Championship
Hilltop Flora sired by Shapfell Bongo born May ‘10 bred by Andrew Stott from Canonbie exhibited and owned by the Donaldson family from North Allerton lifted the Female Championship before going on to win the overall Blonde Breed Championship having been judged by Menna Evans from Lampeter, repeating her success at the Great Yorkshire in 2017.
Reserve championship went to Hallfield Miranda sired by Hilltop Hector born March ’16 bred by James Weightman from Co.Durham owned and exhibited by Lucy Corner from Aycliffe , Co. Durham.
Junior Champion went to Newland Omaha born March ’18 sired by Kilmoney Bruce, bred and exhibited by Thor Atkinson from Ulverston, Cumbria.
The reserve Junior position was awarded to Hilltop Oceanina sired by Hallfield Jody born May ’18 owned and exhibited by the Donaldson family.
Male Champion was awarded to Lucyland Olaf born April ’18 sired by Bridge Jonty again from Lucy Corner from Co.Durham, reserve champion went to stable mate and half-brother Lucyland Orville born March ’18 again sired by Bridge Jonty.
The pair of animals from the same sire was awarded to Thor Atkinsons pair sired by Kilmoney Bruce. The team of three bred by the exhibiter was awarded to Thor Atkinsons team.
