Carlisle Show and Sale 2026

A strong entry of quality cattle came before the judge at Carlisle, with exhibitors presenting a deep and impressive line-up across the bull and female classes. Both in the ring and at sale time, the day reflected continued demand for British Blonde cattle with style, pedigree and performance behind them.

Carlisle Spring Sale 2025

At the H & H Borderway sale in Carlisle on May 10, 2025, British Blonde bulls matched the record price of 12,000gns, led by the Overall Champion Hallfield Umpire 23rd. The event saw an impressive average of £9,100 and a complete clearance, highlighting strong demand in the market.

Welshpool Spring Sale 2025

The Welshpool spring show and sale featured British Blonde cattle with a 100% clearance. Whitepeak Uruk-Hai won champion, and bulls sold for up to 4,800gns, averaging £4,809.

Dungannon Spring Sale 2025

At the British Blonde Cattle Society Spring sale at Dungannon Farmers’ Mart, a record price of 4,700gns was achieved for Moneyscalp Ultimate, the pre-sale Champion exhibited by Gerard and Gary McClelland. Silverwood Ulyses was named Reserve Champion. The event appreciated its sponsors, judge, and all participants in the sale.

Swatragh Sale 2024

The Autumn Sale at Swatragh Livestock Market on 25th October 2024 showcased exceptional female cattle, led by Silverwood Livestock Teri which sold for 2,400gns. Moneyscalp Ulrika followed at 2,000gns. The NI Blonde Cattle Club acknowledged sponsors, judges, and all contributors for a successful event, wishing buyers the best with their new stock.

Carlisle Spring Sale 2024

Blonde breeders enjoyed a complete clearance securing a top price of 6200gns for 2 year old Silverwood Tom shown by N McKnight of Newry, Co.Down, Northern Ireland.
Tom is a son of the famous French bull Drop and out of an Ardmore Gargoyle dam Silverwood Opal. He now joins the Everingham herd of Neil and Jess Barrett from North Yorkshire.

Welshpool Spring Sale 2024

The inaugural Spring sale held at Welshpool Livestock Market, saw a top price of 4,000gns and also new interest for the Blonde breed with new and established breeders looking to buy.
The first entry from the Fronfedw pen of Messrs Davies sold for the top price of 4,000gns. Fronfedw Sebiumeker, a son of Fronfedw Nudd and out of the herds show cow Fronfedw Isis and caught the attention of Messrs Griffiths, Llanwnda, Caernarfon.

Dungannon Spring Sale 2024

Moneyscalp Theo - 3,500gns

The Blonde judge was Society Chairman Alistair Martin of the Beechgrove prefix, Ballymena. He selected his Overall Champion and Reserve from the Hillhead yearling heifer entry in Lot 26 Hillhead Unicorn with Hillhead Ulrika as reserve. Both sired by Gledney Rab and out of homebred Allacott Herbert sired dams.

Whitepark Tsar - 3400gns - Shrewsbury March Bull sale, 2024

The sole entry of a Blonde bull, Whitepeak Tsar Pp from CE & SW Mycock sold for 3400gns.

Tsar was the first polled British Blonde bull to be offered for sale in the UK and the first son of Joystick to come onto the market.

Swatragh Show & Sale 2023

Champion heifer, Drumraymond Tango from Henry Griffin, topped the Autumn Sale held at Swatragh Livestock Market on 27th October selling for 2,900gns and was closely followed by the Overall Champion entry, Moneyscalp Thor, at 2,750gns.
